Swim, leap, scramble, climb and launch yourself off 30ft jumps over waterfalls into their crystal clear plunge pools.
Esk Gorge –
The Esk Gorge is an involved full day out. The nature of this gorge boasts a series of high level waterfall jumps ranging from 6 to 30 feet high, into huge crystal clear plunge pools. Accessing these jumps involves technical scrambling up full force waterfalls, where sometimes a safety rope may be required. Whilst it’s not essential to launch yourself from the higher tiers, its far more rewarding to put your trust with the experience of the instructor and take the plunge!

Canyon Adventure –
If Abseiling down waterfalls and sliding down water slides is more your thing then canyoneering maybe more your cup of tea. Looking over the edge is always more reassuring if your attached to a rope. We descend into the the depths of this steep canyon with high walls either sides. Once your in,your committed to the challenge ahead. There are plenty of slides where the water has created amazing chute formations that fire you fast into there deep diving pools. This activity is based near Keswick and is a 10 minute drive from it’s centre, This activity can last 3 to 4 hours depending on group size and ability.

If leaping off waterfalls is not your thing then there are a range of other activities you may want to do instead. These activities can be booked as half day activity or two activities can be combined in a full activity day. Prices from £25pp
Canadian Canoeing:- Relax and enjoy paddling to some of the remote islands on scenic Derwent water.
Rock Climbing:- Learning the skills and techniques to scale the best lake district rock faces the Lake District has to offer.
Abseiling:- Control your own speed descending over some vertical crags in the Borrowdale valley.
- Personal and safety equipment is provided. Quality wetsuits, spray tops, helmets and buoyancy aids (where necessary) are provided at no additional cost.
- What you need to bring. Trainers or boots you don’t mind getting wet (no wellies, sandals or wet suit booties). Full change of clothes and a towel. Trousers or shorts to go over wetsuit (old clothes are best).
